Well, MoonlitShadow, the most direct way would be to show him interact with the Ocean Spirit directly. Show the possession, maybe change the appearance of his Avatar State slightly, just enough to make people realize "Dude, the fish just possessed Aang!"

Koizilla vs. Tidal Wave, which is better for live-action? - Thu Jul 08, 2010 9:07 am
I'm following 47 on this. The Ocean Spirit possessing Aang is quintessential to his triggering the Avatar state in the battle. However, rather than go about with TV's Koizilla or M. Night's Tidal Wave, we can instead combine or correct certain particular things. For example, the fact that no self-respecting navy will simply run after a giant tidal wave FAILS to destroy their fleet.
I propose we use the tidal wave, with Aang possessed by the Ocean Spirit, and he DECIMATES the fleet. Literally, a sinking of every ship. With this method, Aang will still get the plausible deniability the show gave for the mass murder (ie - he was possessed by the Ocean Spirit) and we won't need to worry about animating something like Koizilla. The morality behind the slaughter can even be used as a foundation for Aang's growing levels of passifism in the next films. The ending might be minutely bittersweet, but that will not automatically make it bad by any means.
How's that sound?
Who should play Zuko? - Thu Jul 08, 2010 8:51 am
While Dev Patel was one of the more decent actors when it came to the movie, I don't think he truly captured the essence of Zuko in full.
So, who then would be a fitting replacement?
I nominate Dante Basco, himself. He is a talented actor on his own, he already knows the character since he performs Zuko's voice, and his own blog has stated that he would have loved playing the part for TLA. He is also still plenty young enough as far as looks go to pull off the teenaged Zuko.
